Wholesale ribbons and bows

Satin, grosgrain, organza and paper string in the widths that match standard bouquet sizes. The range is built around one rule florists use every day: the finished bow should be about a quarter of the bouquet diameter, so a 30cm bouquet wants roughly 2.5cm ribbon.

How to choose

• Width – 0.6-1cm for mini bouquets and buttonholes, 1.5-2.5cm for standard work, 2.5-4cm for large bouquets, 4cm and up for statement pieces.
• Material – satin is the best all-rounder. Grosgrain holds shape better on large builds. Organza suits delicate bouquets.
• Length – a classic two-loop bow takes 90-110cm, four loops 140-170cm, a premium bow with trailing tails 120-140cm.
• Paper string – cheaper than ribbon and reads as rustic, which suits kraft and dried-flower work.

Ribbon is sold by the roll, typically 25 or 30 yards, with quantity tiers from 50 rolls. Because it is light, ribbon is one of the cheapest items to consolidate into a sea freight shipment.
